The Widower's Wife. Creepy Fact #1

Until my new book, The Widower's Wife, comes out in August, I am going to post one creepy thing that I've learned from writing it, everyday. There's a bunch of stuff since the book delves into life insurance policies, entering the U.S. without documents, immigration policy, cruise ships and murder in Bahamian waters. The book is already in with my publisher and is awaiting the last copy edit.

So, here goes.

Fact #1: If you plan on cashing in on a term life insurance policy by either (A. faking your death, B. faking someone else's death C. killing someone or D. committing suicide) you better do it two years after you get the policy. Otherwise the insurance company can contest the benefit.

Word of the Day: Mendacity

I got this one from S.A. Cosby's electrifying thriller Blacktop Wasteland. You'll have to trust me on the meaning.
